First up - well done Keith Hill and The Reds - an awesome result and there can be no quibbling about that. Now, the caveats - well, you knew there'd be some, didn't you? 1. McEveley did his best to lose us that game. He is not good enough and his contract should be cancelled without delay. 2. Sir Bobby starts! This would not have happened had Addison not injured himself pulling up from a steady trot during the warm up. Take note, Hill. We are better off starting with Sir Bobby than a lumbering wildebeest. 3. The bedorck of today's success was the team that Davey/Robins built, i.e. Steele, Hassell, Foster. OK, Done finished his chance superbly, but it was the old guard that built the foundations of today's success. Morale? Don't change too much, too soon. 4. Let's see whether today can be replicated at Millwall. If there was grief floating about for slagging them off after three bad games, let's not get carried away after one good one! 5. Leicester is a 'Cat A' game. So I will not be there. I can afford many times more than £30, but I'm not inclined to pay that, regardless of how well or badly we do at The Den. If you want my custom, Cryne, take note. All that said, it would be churlish not to return to the fact that today was a magnificent result. Well done Hill and the lads!
Sometimes managers hit upon the right formula through luck, I hope this is the start of the rest of our season. Well done Keith. UTR.
