.....we need to take all the plus' from the Everton game and crack on now. Gone was the negative tippy tappy sideways nonsense of early season and in was brought an attacking, exciting approach. It worked...yes we lost but the whole place, most importantly the fans, were given a tremendous boost and this MUST now continue. There must have been quite a few watching on the Everton game on tv thinking 'that was ace, I'll go down to Oakwell next game to watch that', so please please do not revert to the aforementioned dullard style or else the feel good factor will soon be gone again and a massive opportunity will have been thrown away. Credit again goes to PC LJ and BM for fronting up the fans on Thursday night. I didn't go but from all accounts they talked a good game and seem to have noble intentions. A word of caution tho...i have been to said meetings before (BM, DWilson, MCrossley etc) and they talked a good game there too, but that turned out to be a load of carp. Actions speak louder than words and the time now is for visible confirmation that their plans are coming to fruition. I hope to god this is not another false dawn as we as fans can only start drifting away for good if this is another portion of pie in the sky. The happy clappers must have sore hands right now from all the ecstatic clapping and I'll admit right now the signs are very good. Football is fickle however, so we now have to sieze the moment......Come on Leejay and you red and white wizards!! Hopethishelps
Who has hacked thereev's account and written a generally positive post? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
We have to accept the dull moments too with a young side and young management team. Our ability to perform is clear, our ability to perform week in week out with free flowing attacking football needs more patience and support from everyone. I already can see how the club business plan is translating to the field. Thereev, can you offer this patience and support?
Well it will be 40 years of watching next spring, so i guess another couple won't hurt! And it is because i have been going so long, plus my generally excellent judgement of character, that my opinion is that good talking is fine as long as they deliver, which they(fill in the names as appropriate) usually have not in the recent past! hth
Not far behind me in terms of years served then! I've Heard a lot before, but I hold some hope. It's feels better to hope and support than dismiss and miss out on some things like the entertainment v EFC which some people did. The alternative is that the club lock down ranks, say nowt, communication with no-one and let everyone guess what they are thinking. At least then expectations set won't be an issue.
