that was aimed at me.. I live in Grimey, my Dad was on strike and it was hard, fkuc me it WAS hard, And even now i hate maggie with a fooking passion you wouldnt believe, i will have a party at mine when she pops her cloggs, BUT i don't see the point in shouting scab scab at a football match between Forest an Us or any other team from that area, i mean its FOOTBALL not a PICKET LINE!

    Obviously not you!

Whoever in Barnsley can say the strike didn't affect them/their families isn't from round here or wasn't born!

I was called a scab just a few weeks ago

I work at Staythorpe power station in Newark, there's been protests about foreign workers which I can understand, but its not a strike, its a protest! If it was a strike although i'm self employed and not attached to any union i'd join them!

    Well said mate

...and most of those doing the shouting today were aged under 16 and wouldn't know chuff all about what happened unless they read it in a book or someone else told them about it. Add that to the fact that most of the people they were shouting at were young families, teenagers, and other persons who had nowt to do with it either.

Queue the claims of 'I feel passionately about it' - like it was a sincere political gesture. There were spotty herberts there shouting 'scabs' today who only wanted something abusive to shout - simple as that.
