No Because all that will do is make him raise his game, he was at the end of his contract and went elsewhere for more money - no doubt the majority have done that in our line of work at least once. Even more bizarre though - those who booed Chopra! So a player who was only here on loan and did a good job for us, and we didn't even try to sign him when he was available!
Yes.. I have defended McPhail's right to ply his trade where he wants- but whilst he was with us he was well paid (some might say overpaid) for his services. No longer plays for the reds- therefore its open season.
RE: No I agree with you on Chopra! He had a great season with us on loan and hasn't spoken a bad word about us. He didn't even celebrate Cardiff's first goal and after all he made it with a superb assist - respect!
No. Sorry, but if I was offered a 50% pay rise to go somewhere else, I'd have done exactly the same...
McPhail did nothing wrong at all. He was out of contract. Cardiff offered him a better deal at a club more likely to have success. I don't blame the bloke, and if he plays all season like he did in the first half today, hes going to be successful.
RE: id say yes and no, both reasons explained by previous posts Yes its right to boo him. No its not right to boo him. Top post mate. If you were offered a big increase to change your employer you would turn it down then. If the answer is yes you want certifying.
Rhubarb did nothing at all wrong?
WE payed the work shy fop handsomely, only gave a **** for 3 months every season..the last 3. Why do you propose that was the case?
Not very good today.

Never. Booing ex players stinks. Always remember when Andy Rammell got booed by a set of pr*cks in the Ponty. One old guy in front of me: "They soon forget, don't they?" Too many do, way too often.
Yes. Before the ticker-tape had settled at Cardiff he was saying we needed at least four more players this season. He's at it again now at Cardiff. Who the **** does he think he is? He's an average second tier midfielder who thinks he's Roy Keane. .
But why didn't he leave before last season? Last season, he presumably had the chance to go to a championship team (for less money) - but chose to mess us around waiting for an better offer that never came. This season, Cardiff offered him more than we did - so why does he insult us by trying to pretend it was a footballing decision? Verdict: Greedy I still think he is a terrific player and I appreciated him applauding the reds fans after the game. Incidentally, Chopra did not. Despite all that, I'm glad he stayed last season and I will look back fondly on his displays in a Barnsley shirt. I didn't get involved in the booing and found it a bit tiresome.
