1) Davey. Is going to take BFC into the lower leagues. He absolutely is. What the chuff was that today? It was like Morecambe and Wise - 'I'm playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the correct order!'. Playing all the right players - but not necessarily in the relevant positions. Not coming on for Radio Sheffield was cowardly. The fact is that the man hasn't got the answers. 2) Kidd - felt sorry for him, had to do the radio Sheffield interview because Davey bottled it. Talking about 'We knew that Swansea would be the best football side we'd seen at Oakwell this year, they're the best football team in the division'. Well they're not unbeatable because they're not where Wolves are. Davey totally set the side up today in fear of what the Swansea midfield could do to us. What we needed to do was play with wide men, play to our strengths, attack with pace down the wings and get the ball into the box. At least we would have gone down fighting. At best we might have turned them over. Typical Davey - hasn't got the bottle to let the opponent worry about what we're going to do to them. 3) Clueless again in the final third. How many times did Hammill swing in a decent ball across the face of the six yard box (first half especially) only for us to have nobody - absolutely nobody - anticipating a ball in or attacking either the front or back post? Devaney was very good when he came on and also put some excellent crosses is - for what that was worth with our front two. 4) JCR as a play making holding man. Hang on that's what Anderson was doing, or er, Andranick... oh hang on they don't know. Falling over each other. For chuff's sake, everyone in the ground can see that JCR is a winger - get him wide and tell him to stay the hell out of the midfield. 5) Soft goals today. All of them. Sleeping for the first one, no pressure on the ball for the second, and the final was Muller's now token howler. Drop Muller for chuff's sake - he could take us down all on his own at this rate. Having gaffed once, he nearly gaffed again on a later back pass. 6) Macken - should have scored with that header at the back post. No excuses. 7) Motivation? Something lacking today. It certainly wasn't going to come from the bench at any time. 8) Keep it simple now. All we want to see is a simple 4-4-2 - attacking down the wings, nothing fancy. No stupid holding role for JCR, no 4-3-3 going forward, changing into a five man midfield when we defend etc etc. I'm afraid, from what I've seen today, I'm now convinced Davey is going to take us down. We need to start making our contingency plans for how we are going to get back up. Hopefully he will sack Davey (not even convinced that will happen unfortunately), but we need to start looking for a proper manager. Can we hold this side together in the first division? I think with a good manager it would be a side contending for a return - but no foregone conclusions. As fans we're all owed a massive apology for today and for this season. I doubt we'll get one.
Agree with everything you say there, but I'm afraid that if we go down there is no way we'll be holding this team together. There's far too many of them won't fancy a trip to L1, those on loan won't be back if we're down, and we'll have to let the top earners go to cut our cloth. The side as we know it now will be decimated by August. We'll patch it up with lower league nobodies and there'll be no quick return.
9) We played with one winger and 3 central midfielders today, im still struggling to figure that one out. 10) Jon Macken is garbage. Another gilt edge chance went begging today and apart from that he offered nothing, ive never known a centre forward not try to break his neck to get onto the end of crosses, he is past it and is best used as a sub. Although Misfud has flattered to deceive he has scored 2 goals in the time he has been here and i think plays better with Bogdanovich. 11) Davey Out!
brian laws came on radio sheffield and told it as he saw it, not sulking off like a naughty schoolboy.
the only players that Championship teams would be interested in would be JCR. Possibly Foster. and thats it.

Finally i hear what you have been saying for a long long time pal
Please accept all my comments and snide remarks, and the odd bit of abuse (Charlton away for one)

Sorry - don't agree I'm sure that someone would go for: Colace Hume, when playing again Luke Steele De Silva, who remember last year was an Everton player we were astonished to sign. maybe Kozluk
Your Eric Morcambe comment - brilliant - gallows humour at its best Didnt see todays game (boy am I glad I didnt make the 450 mile round trip!!) but that comment alone is almost certainly spot on from what I have seen recently
RE: the only players that Championship teams would be interested in would be JCR seems to have the Howard syndrome if you don't play your best players to their strengths, they try too hard and end up being the scape goat.
Said pretty much the same myself to my mate If we're not in the Championship next season, I can see 7 out of todays starting 11 not being here come August.
