    Conclusion on Conlon

he is a target man brought in by Hart so we could bash the ball up to him (also known as Bazza bashing). This tempted our defenders to hoooooooooof the ball up to him instead of using our quality midfield - Devaney, Shuker etc. It was very boring watchng the ball hooofed up to conlon for him to flick it onto an opposition defender or their goalkeeper. When Richie played him from the start of the season i was right behind him (you have to get behind the players that he picks) but he didnt really look like scoring to be fair.
We get rid of him and start playing Richards. We get the ball on the deck and start playing really entertaining football. The first game without him we hammer 4 goals past Oldham, Nards his replaceent on the day bagging a goal. We then go on an unbeaten run of 10/11 games in the league and look like a different team. I see it as good management, great decision by Ritchie. (Y)
