I would give a subscription for this board, however one glaring question I can see

what about banning people. If they have paid for a thing then they have the right to have it. Of course you could implement a EULA but how many read small print. A subscription could actually kill it off. If the BBS is struggling to keep going I am sure a donation system would be accepted. I am up to donate some cash for it if needed. Being a kinda exile this BBS gives me a lifeline link not only to BFC, but also to my roots.

Can I add for clarification, I have no contact with the site admin and how it's run,

But I think do lots of hard work and baby sitting to keep it going for nothing.

    It was just a thought,

Maybe people that run the risk of been banned will think twice before typing

    Ps Gally,

Where do you want to meet to pay me the money for post this.

Would had pm'd you but it's not working

Barnsley player is £34 a year

for that you get live video interviews, match high lights. But if you only took for the live audio commentary then its less than 75p per game and that assuming we would fall at the first tie in each of the 3 cup comps we are in this coming season.... I call that a bargain. A forum such as the BBs would have to examine a pricing policy quite seriously.

I think I'd probably donate a few quid if it looked like the BBS was going to close because the hosting fees or whatever were going to be too much. But subscribe to use it? No, sorry. It opens up a can of worms. If I'm paying can I say what I want about who I want without fear of recourse? I might want to take my brass back if admin threaten to warn me. I might demand that my £20 means certain non-paying users be removed.

No - and I can't see how it would improve anything.

Don't like the idea of subscriptions, but I'm all for donations. I've given them in the past and would again.
