    and thoroughly enjoyed it. loved the leeds remark when clarkey asked him to go there. what do i want to go there for, i have no feelings for em! superb.
    then said he was the person who identified hunter as the next boss.

    D'ya know when we talk about legends at oakwell we always come up with the same names ie glavin redders etc..but surely our rimmo is the true legend down there

    Couldn't agree more, one-club men like Rimmo are very few and far between these days (Dario Gradi springs to mind) and his unflinching services over many many decades to our club and to football in general deserve huge honour.

    Get a stand named after him now! If Man u can do it for sir Alex, we should do it now for Norman Rimmington. Let's accept that we aren't going to get sponsors for all four stands ...we never have so why should we think we ever will. Even if we did, we could have it as the Norman Rimmington Stand, sponsored by ......

    Top bloke Rimmo. We need to get an interview with him sorted on Player soon. As far as his memoirs go, I'm sure Matt & Mark at the club would help him write them if he was up for doing so, I'd certainly love to be involved with something like that - it would undoubtedly be some read!
