One of my favourite programmes growing up was Blockbusters & I had the pleasure of meeting the great man while having a pint at the pub my brother was working at in Bowness on Windermere, sad day. R.I.P. Bob Holness x

One of my favourites too. Although my abiding memory is a sad one. There was a contestant who subsequently died in a cycling accident after the show was recorded, his family allowed them to play the episode in his memory.
