Just got back from vets my 15 year old springer has passed, good night friend and thanks for all the good times.
Re: to infinity and beyond He was, at times he was only one happy to see mi come in from work, just glad we where there at end for him.
Re: to infinity and beyond That's desperately sad news. So, so sorry. We dog lovers all rally round at times like this. Don't be afraid to shed tears for Buzz. Dave and Brad... (my border collie and my best friend)
Re: to infinity and beyond Despite how bad a day I have had our lasses two whippets (Flo n Lottie) always are happy to see me and welcome me home.
I'm sorry to hear that. 15 years is a pretty "good" age for a springer though isn't it, so at least he had a long good life. I know how terrible it feels at first (I've had dogs too) and it really is like losing a family member, but think of all the happy times that you had - these memories will always stay with you.
Re: to infinity and beyond Thanks for all the messages, am sobbing like a baby mate only consolation is his family where there. I
Re: to infinity and beyond Feel for you, mate. I'm about to go to bed now and I'm just sat with our dog at the side of me. I'll be devastated when it's his time to go. Love him to bits.
Re: to infinity and beyond Am lost, destroyed , but I know now he's at rest. It came so sudden. I let him out for his 8 o'clock wee and he had his treats and next ten minutes he could nt stand. The vet said he had a brain hemorrhage... A miss mi pal, he won't be snozzling mi face at four in morning and jumping on bed and getting between me and wife for his cuddles.. Rip buzz my old mate tell we meet again
Re: to infinity and beyond Not often I say this about a BBS post, but reading that made me well up. Sad times mate. Chin up.
Thanks for all the messages, to none dog lovers it must be hard to understand, but my heart is broken. It's nearly 24 hours since he had his turn, but am still sobbing, went up to parents today and it's first time they have seen mi cry in 40 odd years. No amount ov time will pass without thinking ov that dearly missed Pal.
Gutted for you. Been down to the vets with my cat today, just for a routine thing. Couple in there waiting on a dog in emergency care. My heart went out to them. Could have cried myself, and I've never even seen the dog. Lovely companions. Treasure the memories. RIP Buzz.
"He was, at times he was only one happy to see mi come in from work" I know that feeling! Man's best friend. Be walking mine in half an hour. Love his enthusiasm. Anyway 15 years for a dog is a fair innings.
