Pour man... great track Possibly responsible for the Spector sound. Apparently Phil was obssessed by Hazlewoods production techniques, but like everyone who has ever come accross spector Hazlewood hated the little bewigged ****.

bloody hell mort, listen to Requim for an almost lady, it's pure genius (although only 25 mins long), it,s one of my all time fav albums, Cowboy in Sweden, his latest cd Cake or Death, he really did loads of great things without Nancy, although some velvet morning and sand will be the trax he is most remembered for, along with Boots, also he produced and promted all the early Duane Eddy records, he really was uniwuq and a genius
RE: bloody hell mort, listen to music of his type and the same era, main man has to be Jessie Winchester
also Ron Brown died at the weekend too. Th eleft wing labour MP who famously damaged the Mace in the House of Commons and was involved in a sex scandel involving his mistress's flat and a missing pair of ladies knickers.
RE: how can you lose a pair of knickers I don't know... but it cost him his political career. There was an allegation that he was spying to the soviets... but apparently he was no good because they couldn't understand the Leith brogue.
Didn't Willie Whitelaw lose his trousers on a train once? I'm sure he was Home Secretary at the time too
