    Massive news over here, of course. Lots of NHL players have died, the most famous of whom (to me at least) is Pavel Demitra - top, top player in his prime. Such a shame.

    Big news here in Denver too, as 2 of the players were former Avalanche players.

    I saw Pavol play a few times in Vancouver. He was a great hard working player with plenty of skill who should still be in the NHL, if he was he would be still with us. R.I.P guys.

    Not looking good for the 2 survivors either - both horrifically burned and in grave condition. I've just read that the average age of the team was 26. So with the 6 or 7 ex-NHL players I've heard of being in their late 30s, there must have been a lot of young kids in their too. Awful.
