From where? If it's from Gawber Road then it's probably a bit pricey but if it's from the other side of Kathmandu you could have got yourself a bit of a bargain. In comparison I ordered a cab from the excellent Regency taxi's tonight from Silkstone to Worsbrough at a very reasonable £6.50. Not a black cab though.
Taxi prices vary massively In Leeds, the firm I use charge me £4 back to mine from the train station at any time, including at 3am in the morning after a night out like tonight. If I queue up and get a metered cab at the station, it's around £7, flag a private un-metered one down, it'll be £8-10. My advice: find a good company to stick to them.
