A top player and had a career to be proud of. Time goes nowhere these days.

"Career to be proud of" - Really?

Motherwell and Wednesday? Hardly Milan and Madrid is it.

Yes, the lad tragically lost his life, and our thoughts go out to anyone that has lost a loved one BUT CAREER TO BE PROUD OF??????

He also spent time at Celtic.

Not to mention he was a model professional, and would put most footballers to shame with their diving and other antics. So I'd certainly say that was something to be proud of.

That's ok, mate. Came back up the road straight after the final whistle, got home around 9.30pm.

Why? We have soldiers being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and you bring up the name of an overpaid footballer who might have been a nice guy, but I find no relevance in bringing up the anniversary of his death on this site.

    Typical Glaswegian!

"Up the road, down the road". I remember those expressions well from my time in Scotland. Along with "Messages" and "Carry Oots" and others.

There's worse posted on here and especially much less interesting things than a Football played gone before his time.

The thread was clearly regarding the death of Phil O'Donnell for those who wanted to pay their respects. If you didn't want to then why read/reply?

As for the relevance, he was a footballer and this is a football supporters bulletin board.
