It is my sad duty to report the death of the Watcher on February 8th. The Watcher and his boy friend were sliding down a ski run in the Austrian resort of Kitzbuhl on a foam pad at 3am, when they crashed into a chairlift tower and died. Their makeshift sledge of yellow foam had been stolen from the chairlift tower. The cushion is meant to protect skiers who hit the tower. There's a moral in there somewhere.
