Infact Ritchie, go out and bring 3 players in on loan. Forget the quality bit you mentioned, forget the wages we might have to pay and forget there fitness!!!! Lets get 3 players from Scarborough, sure it;ll make some idiots happy!

Excuse me ? Do i have a go at you for not getting on his back ? No i don't so show the same back. If he had gone a month or so without bringing someone in i wouldn't be so bothered. But we have been after players for months now and still nothing. He seems to believe he's to bring in players as good as what we currently have. How hard can that be seriously ? Your saying we cannot find someone as good as Wright or Richards ? Come on your having a laugh. I'd be happy with someone being brought in who is only better then the fringe players. Afterall that would still be strengthening the team.

 

I thought there was a wonderkid from Man Ure we only had to wink at and he was on his way!

Show the same back!! No thanks, I'll speak my mind. You need to make up your mind DB, one minute you are in support, the next minute following suit and jumping on somebodies back.

Thankfully I am in a position to actually understand how hard it is to get players in.. Why is that.... Because I have had a family member phoning 15 clubs this week trying to get players for the club he is assistant manager at (league 1 team). Not many clubs are offering players, and the ones they are offering are 17-19 years old.

 

Come on Andy lets be honest why are they all falling through?

The problem - Managers aren't allowing quality players to be released until transfer window, even for loan!!! I for one only want someone who is going to walk straight into the team, not sit on the bench!

Did we not strengthen before the transfer window closed? I remeber at the time everyone telling us about all the great loan signings that would be coming. I thought it sounded ballacks then.

If that is what you think, then that is upto you. The majority of managers throughout the football league are in the same situation, struggling to get other clubs to release players.
