Barnsley manager Andy Ritchie insists he is fully committed to the Tykes despite the collapse of his contract talks at Oakwell. The Tykes boss, whose current contract expires next summer, emerged without a new deal last week following lengthy negotiations with club chairman Gordon Shepherd. "I've already gone on record as saying I'm disappointed and feel let down, but you just have to get on with it," Ritchie said. "I'm just going to get on with the job and that's trying to win football matches to get us out of trouble. I'm committed to that. "Other people keep saying it must affect the players, but I'm not so sure about that and I'll be keeping my own counsel." Shepherd invited talks over a new contract last month immediately after turning down an approach from Sheffield Wednesday to speak to Ritchie about the recent vacancy at Hillsborough last month.
