Andy Ritchie is confident his Barnsley players can hold on to a play-off spot by defeating relegated Walsall on the season's final day. The Tykes know a win will ensure them a place in the end-of-season scrap for the chance to be in the Championship next term, rather than rely on Swansea and Nottingham Forest slipping up. However Ritchie believes his players can defeat the Saddlers to avoid having to rely on the help of any other clubs. "I'll be telling my players to go out and enjoy the game and at the end of the day what will be, will be," Ritchie said. "But if they give me 100%, like they do every week, then we will give a good account of ourselves. "It would be absolutely brilliant for the players if we did go on and clinch a play-off place. "It would also be smashing for me and the other coaching staff because it has been a real team effort this season. We've all pulled together and hopefully now we can finish well."
