Andy Ritchie and Gary Megson are in the running to manage Huddersfield after Phil Parkinson's U-turn. (Daily Mirror)

Just speculation. Evidently the 3 who had 2nd interviews

were Parkinson, Ritchie and Megson and it was a close call between Parky and AR for the job. Huddersfield have said they will take their time and look at new candidates though. They may even wait until close season before appointing.

I think they will end up with Megson.... AR applied for a few jobs, so might not want to be second best!!!

In the mean time, John Dungworth and Gerry Murphy will continue to manage Huddersfield and prob till end of season from what I was told.
