BARNSLEY boss Andy Ritchie hopes his players will have learned quickly as they head for their first Championship away game at Hull City tonight.

Ritchie says he was encouraged by most of what he saw in the opener against Cardiff City, a 2-1 home defeat.
"We learned plenty, that's for sure. We need to start better and ensure we don't let in any sloppy goals," he said.
"There is extra quality at this level and teams use it to produce goals so we certainly don't want to give anyone a helping hand.
He said he expected his players to respond positively to a big stadium and a big crowd tonight. "It's their first home game and the first at home for a new manager (Phil Parkinson) so there will be a buzz about the place," added Ritchie.
"It will be difficult but, hey, this is the Championship. It's our job to go there and see if we can make it as difficult as possible for Hull City."
Ritchie is likely to stick with the same side and Paul Heckingbottom should play after having stitches in a cut eye.
Hull opened with a 2-0 defeat at West Brom.
Boss Parkinson has signed two defenders from League One in Brentford central defender Michael Turner and Swansea's Welsh international left-back, Sam Ricketts.
Up front is Barnsley-born Jon Parkin who began his career at Oakwell and was a six figure signing by Hull from Macclesfield last season.
Barnsley (likely): Colgan, Hassell, Reid, Kay, Heckingbottom, Devaney, Howard, Togwell, McIndoe, Richards, Hayes.
