What is dissapointing is the way that Ritchie has been treated

No matter what - Ritchie won a promotion season for us where others failed. We do owe Ritchie gratitude for that. I doesn't mean that his job is safe, no matter what, but it should mean that if he must get the sack, it ought to be done in a way that is dignified and respectable, and reflects the gratitude we all owe him. I think it is sad that the relationship with Ritchie has soured, and I can't see how things can be patched up. Shepherd should never have gone on the radio to talk about the perceived short comings of his manager - never. This all could have been handled in a far more decisive and dignified manner - but instead it lingers, and has a detrimental effect on performances. Poor management of the club.
