REDS boss Andy Ritchie gave his thoughts ahead of tomorrow's clash with Tranmere Rovers at Oakwell.

He said: "We still have a doubt over Paul Reid at the moment although he has looked ok in training. His hamstring is still a little tight so we will have to wait and see how things go overnight.
"At the moment I would say it is 50/50 but being totally honest I am not expecting Paul to make it. We will not risk him if his hamstring is still tight because that means there is obviously something there.
"Everybody else is fit and has trained today and we also have Tony McParland in the squad now so that gives us even more options although tomorrow's match may just be a bit soon for him.
"Everybody knows that we have been looking for a winger and for some cover on the flanks. Tony can play right side and will also slot in on the left so he gives us that extra body there. He will put pressure on the players we have in the team now because it is always good to have competition in every position.
"We are coming into a very important part of the season now and we have to face all of the top six. It is a big month and the players have to be ready. Hopefully we will have had our little blip now and we want to get back to winning ways tomorrow. We have to start putting some distance between ourselves and the teams below us.
"Doncaster did us a bit of a favour the other night but that gap could be even bigger if we had taken our chances against Port Vale. That was a game we should have won. We know that but we cannot dwell on the result - we have to concentrate on getting three points tomorrow.
"Tranmere is always a difficult place to go but we will go there to win. They are a hard working side and if we can match that then I am confident we are as good as anyone in this league".
