    BARNSLEY boss Andy Ritchie has early fitness doubts over defenders Matt Carbon and Paul Reid ahead of Saturday's clash with Colchester United.</p>

    Both players missed last weekend's victory over Tranmere Rovers and could again sit out the visit of Phil Parkinson's promotion chasing side.</p>

    Speaking to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Andy said: &quot;Matt did not train yesterday so we will have a look how he is again. We will have to wait and see but hopefully he will be alright for the weekend.</p>

    &quot;With a bit of luck Paul will not suffer any reaction this week and he should be ok&quot;.</p>
