Seems to me to be broad minded in that the bigger picture of financial security for the club in the long term is being considered rather that short term objectives of signing players we can't afford who may or may not produce the goods on the pitch.</p>

Look I agree with you that the squad needs to be strengthend, but surly that may be better achieved through short term loans where you just fish out the wages and release them at the end if they don't come off. Seems better than to be stuck with a Kevin Donavan again to me.</p>
