Give him a 3 year contract my ar*e. Give him the Derby at the longest.

Your living off getting us promoted out of a very poor division (for which the other teams contributed to our success more than we did).

Too many players are off the boil, yet you havent strenghtened at all - however, have comments such as "we can take a man utd kid whenever we want"

Time to go Im afraid, thanks for your hard work, but its just not enough.

Ritchie is to blame Not GS or PC

You ask any of the local journalists from the Star, Yorkie Post and Chron and they WILL tell you that its Ritchie who is inflexible and not the board, Ritchie you will find wants to do it his way or no way and that is why he must go if things dont pick up this week.

He'll have signed his new contract by then.......

You cant blame PC or GS. They have a budget to work with, and other teams have managed to buy players.

AR has stuck with the players he thinks are good enough, but its obvious to everyone that they are not.

AR is the one who got a defensive coach in for one week, we keep a clean sheet and decides not to employ a defensive coach full time.

Im afraid he is past his sell by date - something new needs to happen.

    His hands are tied.

He and Rck Holden dont have the funds to appoint a coach (Rick is coach, physio, assistand manager and tea boy) never mind a budget to pay any decent wages for decent players, its a thankless task.

    Kevin McLeod, Leon Constantine...

both players AR had targetted, both players who we failed to sign. Oh and BOTH scored yesterday.

Cut the loyalty crap. He wants players, it's just when it comes to signing the players AR wants we don't seem to be able to make it happen.

Agree with everything you say Dan just ignore the mindless, head in the sand brigade who still revere Ritchie as a good manager and have short memories! All they remember is promotion and a happy day in Cardiff! Forgotten are all last seasons baffling tactics and substitutions and scraped wins against crap teams - we were not good last season and could not hope to continue with the luck this season against far superior opposition. Ritchie has now been found out as having little idea as a Manager, coach or tactition. He has a blinkered attitude to every aspect of football management his only attribute is that people like him and that is why some people are still loyal to him unfortunately it is a loyalty that is going to get the club relegated and bring about the demise of BFC much faster than signing 2 or 3 players to strenthen the squad. I dont think he will turn it round this week because he wouldn't know where to start but unfortunately neither do i think that Shep will get rid!

    RE: His hands are tied.

Perhaps if AR stopped playing during training and started coaching they wouldn't need to bring in another coach.

AR and RH are supposed to be qualified coaches, they shouldn't need a defensive coach. They are either capable of doing the job or they are not.

    If not it's P45 time.

It is not a wind up neither am I a ****** just another concerned supporter expressing his opinion and I might add the opinion of an increasing number of other supporters aswell. the only difference perhaps being that I have held these views longer than most! Perhaps the reason why others who share my opinions prefer to remain silent is that the minority who still support Ritchie are also apt to display their mindlessness by resorting to name calling due to an inability to partake in intelligent discussion and then to cap it all a pseudo intelectual who calls himself Ketilbert and I assume takes his signature from the depths of the Doomsday Book has the audacity to call my posts "literary masturbations". The Doomsday Book would be a good title for the story of this season as I can not see anything other than DOOM while the present management is in place!

"due to an inability to partake in intelligent discussion"

I asked you a question a week or so ago:

    http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=49574&mid=310335#M310335

    You never replied...

Come up with a realistic answer and I'll believe you're prepared to be involved in "intelligent discussion". Although the only thing I've heard from you so far is negative s*ite.

I think the giveaway is in your remark "perhaps being that I have held these views longer than most" - like been proved right do you? Give you a sense of warmth and well-being does it?
