    I'm not sure what the "rules" are about pasting from the official site so I'm not going to, but its a good read. He's done such a fantastic job this season and I really do like the bloke - can't believe there are any grounds for criticism of him with the job that he's done.

Paul Hayes has had two good days in training, he was disappointed to be left out on Saturday but he understood the decision, he had to have the rest he needed before Thursday's game, we didn't want to risk anything happening. Barry Conlon hasn't played many games and was on the bench on Saturday, he has been looking quite good in training and I will decide whether he will be part of the squad on Thursday.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </span>It's been a bad season for him as he's suffered both groin, and knee problems, he is back now though and is looking good&quot;.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </span>

    Way beyond what I expected in his first season.

    Fair enough, at times he as rode his luck, but he as got a good young squad developing and I think next season will be another good step no matter which league we are in.

    Stop sticking up for them and the manager, they are useless.

    They have only made the play offs because this is an exceptionally poor league and because the teams around them all cocked it up over the last month or so.

    Promotion, i don't think so somehow, if they manage to score a goal over the two legs then that will be an achievement in itself!!!!

    i dont think that is true

    I would say that danny wilson's figures for example make him a much better manager at barnsley than ritchie because all of his games were spent in leagues much harder than this one.</p>

    Is it not a football fan's job to stick up for his/her team?

    Even though this is a wind-up I will still stick up for them on the thread, I don't care.

    So other teams have cocked up... not Barnsley's fault is it? With 72 points we deserve a play-off place.

    I still find it funny how you were 'bullied' into not being a Barnsley fan anymore :pff

    By the way, what did you think to Thordarson, Hodges, Spackman, Parkin, Hart etc if you think Ritchie's so bad?!

    Thordarson was a good manager who shouldn't have gone, he raised us from the dead and layed the groundwork for the clubs current 'success'

    Parkin was a complete and utter **** head who turned this club upside down with his appauling signings. Worst manager ever in my opinion.

    Spackman was alreight but had no man management skills so ultimatley failed.

    Hart= no comment

    Ritchie is just the latest in a long line of wasters who have out this club on its knees, and defeat tommorrow night will send the club back down into oblivion as Cryne will be too yitten to offer the likes of McPhail new contracts because they 'can't afford it'

    Fine, so he was a twit along with the rest of them!!!

    Anyway i can't help my comments as i feel that they need to be said, the comments about me on this board hurt me and i want to see the people responsible suffer and the only way that can happen is for Barnsley FC to be brought to its knees tommorrow evening, as there is no excuse for such abuse!!!!
