Ritchies failings

My concern is over how much faith Ritchie places in the players. hes seems too scared to change the side or to give them a b**locking when they need one. How many chances is he going to give the strike force he picks. We should have absolutely buried Chesterfield and yet he doesnt try and change anything tactically. He doesnt even look bothered (leave that to his mate on the sidelines). Rick Holden didnt seem particularly pleased with the crowd behind the dugout when Hayes missed his fifth good chance of the game. Sorry Rick but the crowd was right to be not pleased. Remember Ritchie brought in those two and Wright who he obviously doesnt have much faith in as he left it as late as possible to bring him on.
How on earth our board have sanctioned contracts for some of those players who have not proved themselves is beyond me. The only time we see Ritchie upset is with the ref for not giving us pens when we become so desperate after letting an equaliser in (i think most the fans saw that coming!) Sorry Andy but thats more frustration at your own failings and those of your players you have brought into the club!

How do you know that Richie doesnt give bollockings when due ? are you in the dressing room after matches ?? Just because YOU dont see it dont mean it doesnt happen. A good gaffer NEVER rousts his staff in public.

And as far as Nardi goes

I recon his bollockings go in one ear and out the other. He is so layed back, if things are going OK then great, if not .... well so be it, cant be helped....

    Well if you listened to

Radio Deedah the other night he was asked something similar and he more or less said he doesnt believe bollocking the players worked, same as he said he doesnt want to be on touchline shouting at them. He might upset them yer know.

Well having talked to the man

I can tell you that if they deserve a bollocking they get one. What they dont get is the sort of public ranting and raving that does go on .. Richies Managerial syle is based on what HE percieved to be the bets bits of the Managers he played under, and how HE was affected by the (as he sees it) the bad bits of Managers he played under.

    Well thats fine then but

if you talk to the man again ask him how his half time team talks are going, cos we often dont come from behind and we often look lethargic when we come back out in the second half.
Also tell him he aint good with numbers cos half the stats he came out with on that show were incorrect

Dont disagree with any of that

but Ritchie is learning his craft as far as the media goes, but one thing I will say is , He never hides from a question whatever its about, Ive known him answer questions diplomaticly that shouldnt have been put, because the player about whom they were put was in the same room. Off out now, going to look at.............
