After no clean sheet in four, and conceeding a 3 and a 5 in our last three games I think it's time he got his chance again at West Ham. If Mceveley is fit we can play Jac Mac, Edwards, Foster, Sir Bobby. If Jay isn't fit we can play Mcnulty, Edwards, Foster, Sir Bobby. Maybe even Edwards, Mcnulty, Foster, Sir Bobby. Whichever option it shouldn't be the exact same back four next weekend.

Might depend on who West Ham have available. Our current central defenders aren't the quickest, but Edwards is a classic big centre-half, i.e. a plodder.

Allardyce "We are in serious trouble now player wise and will be struggling to get 11 out" could be a good time to play them.

Mcnulty is a better left back than jay mac. Id fetch edwards back in the middle, mcnulty left back and wiseman right back. Sir Bobby got caught short far too many times last night unfortunately. However, thats a lot of changes in a settled team and could have more cons than pros. and be a bit knee jerk.

Personally I think McNulty is a better centre half than what i've seen of Edwards, and think when everyone is fully fit, to revert to Hassell Foster McNulty and Mceverly, maybe the back 4 are just suffering a dip in form, who knows. It's a shame that just as we sort out our goalscoring woes, we let slip at the back, or who knows where we could finish this season.

No knee jerk reactions needed i would say. Think McNulty and Foster have been superb at the back. Certainly better than what i have seen from Edwards. (Slow and a very poor passer)

Lets just write the second 45 minutes from yesterday off and go again. A point at West Ham would be an unbelievable result.

I dont think any of the back four came out of that with much credit. And to blame Bobby and McNulty is pathetic. The former had zero help from Jimbo 2nd half - for once, and then none from Jacob.
OK, Bobby wasnt great, but thats the first time we have lost when he's played the full 90. So to drop him now and move Wiseman over, would be harsh, and stupid. I mean, Wiseman for me, looks terrible at RB, but was the best player for me last night at LB. Certainly better than JayMac.
And again, the midfield offered no protection.
Lets stick with what we've had during this good run. If we get arseholed at Upton Park, then change it.
Its 1 defeat, not 4 ont spin.. keep the faith

and "Sir" Bobby is a plodding full back who is easily turned by a half decent forward.

Im sure I remember you mate - Manlito - before Boro, saying you werent going anymore, and then gloating when we lost...?
So I take it you came back then, and have watched Bobby each time he has played? You know, where apart from yesterday, we hadnt lost with him in the team?
