    not even mildly irate tbh, it was just a comment, you just sounded surprised that he would say that. Just really disappointed that we don't seem to learn

    No I wasn't surprised, slightly amused, but just mentioning what he said to those who may not have heard it.
    Why would you use fm anyway. If I had said that in the pub would you have responded with the word fk?

    yes I know what you mean Tarn, commentaries can often sound different to what the managers & players say, or even what the stats say. it didnt sound like we deserved to lose i must admit but it was far too negative in the first half.

    I've just read a thread arguing about stats and everyone agreeing that it's goals that matter.

    Ergo...they deserved to win.

    Of course goals are all that matter. I'd must have preferred we'd played dreadfully but won.

    But it's still possible for a team to score more goals and not deserve to win isn't it!! Just cos you score more goals doesn't automatically mean you deserve to get the win

    That said, you get nothing for deserving to win. We need to be more clinical

    I listened to him earlier and couldn't believe what I was hearing. "We outplayed them at times and fully deserved the 3 points".

    Erm, no you didn't Rob. You stuck 10 men behind the ball and relied on us not being able to put a decent ball into the box. We never looked in danger but tippy tappy nonsense on the edge of the box and two lapses in concentration have cost us. Hope he gets the job there as not only is he clueless, but he pretty much played for a point at home in a Yorkshire derby. Doing that every home game would see them in the bottom 4 come the end of the season.
