http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/BreakingNews/0,,10309,00.html?

You have now been reposting the top news story (poker partnership going strength to strength) for so long despite the official site having ways to 'sticky' a story on the front page, that not only does the story claim that half season tickets are still on sale and direct you to an article months and months out of date but the 'five fun poker facts' are now TWO YEARS out of date.

Please get it sorted as I am of the belief that it could well be costing BFC money in terms of revenue as customers are unable to find the correct information that they require.

You might also like to sort out the Ticket page which claims that Middlesbro are our next opponents (again this will cost BFC money as customers are faced with incorrect information) and also sort the kit sponsorship page which is showing out of date information. I'm sure we are all shocked to find out that yet again this can and most probably will cost BFC money when people are unable to find the information that they need.

Also, I may be missing something but

This seems a little odd if you ask me

posted on the official site on 27/07/06

THE Reds Superstore is now selling special framed pictures of the Reds' Play Off Final celebrations at the Millennium Stadium.

The picture captures the squads celebration on the pitch immediately following Nick Colgan's historic penalty save and our exclusive limited edition prints are framed and signed by the first team. The pictures are on sale now, priced at £125.00.

We are also offering supporters the chance to purchase raffle tickets to win one of our exclusive prints - simply call into the Reds Superstore to get your ticket in the draw.

The draw will be made following the Cardiff City game.

    and posted today

THE Reds Superstore has been raffling an exclusive signed print showing the celebrations in Cardiff immediately after Nick Colgan's historic penalty save against Swansea City.

The draw has just been made and the lucky supporter with ticket number 601 - 605 will be presented with the framed picture at a later date.

Definetly not. I just want BFC to run an official website that is worthy of the BFC name

Something that is both informative and well written, that actually offers something to the supporters of Barnsley FC and helps to increase the club's revenue as much as possible.

Personally, I would have thought that the potential for the official site would have been seen a long time ago yet for a number of years I have seen no improvement and I have to ask myself what is the constant factor in this time? It isn't the chairman, it isn't the software (it was bad in the sportcentric days), it isn't the club secratary and it isn't the team manager and coaches. That to me leaves just one possibly constant...

What makes you think that it is a joke?

I have seen nothing on there but regular updated club news, up to date information and interactive features.

Definetly not repeated and reposted advertising or what could essentially be called SPAM, never seen out of date information and I have 100% not seen failed promises of things coming soon, match reports that have had to be pulled for fear of football league action and I have not once seen badly written news stories littered with spelling mistakes.

Oh hang on, you meant the Barnsley official site, I thought you meant some of the better official sites like rotherham, norwich, and sheffield united to name a few.

Supertyke. Knowing of your penchant for correct grammar and spelling I am sure that you will appreciate my correction of your mis-spelling of the word "definitely" which you spelled as "definetly". Please try to get it right as I do not have unlimited time on my hands to constantly check and always correct your postings.
