The lad is on £7k a week and never gets a game? we need a left back - he can play there. probably the best defender in our squad. Why can't he get a game? anyone??

Because as a seasoned proffesional he speaks his mind and he and Davy do not see eye to eye, same has been said about Andy Johnson and Nick Cogan, now we all may not agree that Colgan was the best keeper we have had but he has ben voted player of the year by the fans.
Davey i believe is stubborn and having met the guy i also sense a bit of what Paul Hart had in him that he will do things his way and no other, we will see what the season brings and may be he will be humble enough to admit that as he is still learning the job he will make mistakes, as we all do.

I know what you mean. He's getting rid of seasoned professionals, who know what English football is all about and replacing them with foreigners, who will take some getting use to the differences between where they come from and our game.

Davy signed Kozluk.. why would he have signed him then..

he must've known more senior pros like Kozluk and Johnson would hardly be the type to sit back and not raise questions with him. Sorry that theory doesn't sit with me.

He's getting rid of Johnson and he doesn't play Kozluk

which adds to the theory rather than dispels it.

RE: Davy signed Kozluk.. why would he have signed him then..

Fact that he signed them, and no doubt, knew or heard about their characters, dispels that theory. We will never really know I suppose.

how many players is that now that have raised questions due to their absense during Daveys time?

Kay, Colgan, Kozluk, Ricketts, Johnson, Christensen (no ide ahow to spell that) there are probably others that I can't be bothered to think about too.

I think he has dropped people like johnson ricketts colgan and kay because they werent up to scratch. He has stuck by other signings such as mccann but kozluk is up to scratch and is one of his signings so there is something a miss. And if he is never going to pick him why isnt he up for transfer?

Simple, Kozluk has been injured, in come Van homet & Hassell, team unbeaten in four games, Davey does stand by his players and Van Homet & Hassell have not been playing that bad to drop them. Whats the betting if they get injured or suspended that Kozluk will get a run in the side.

Hassell came back into the squad before Kozluk ( Bristol City) and then Kozluk appeared on the bench against Southampton when Hassell played

Davey obviously didn’t know Keigan Parkers reputation before bidding for him.

Many Blackpool just wondered if he’d heard Sheffield was a good night.

Have we played well without Da Silva so far this season.

We need him back or it could be a long 2nd half of the season. What a difference a quality box to box midfielder makes.

    its all a bit odd

kozluk is certainly a better left back than hassell no idea what he was thinking with that one.

Agreed our major problem is midfield were we need a ball winner i don't thik Diego Leon is the answer just add him to the list of lightweight skillful players ie Howard, McCann, JCR, Disco, Ricketts not one ball winner amongst them.
And before i hear the cry's that we don't score goals (mid table on the goal count) it would make a difference if our strikers were'nt having to drop deeper to help the midfield out which at times does get over run

Strikers not just dropping deep into midfield

but into defence at times to help out. No wonder we depend on midfielders scoring
