If we're letting Reid go, surely Page wouldn't be a bad signing to cover Souza and Foster?

Or am I talking sh*te..

I think he's worth a look

hard tackling, no nonsense type, experienced at Championship level, if he's anywhere near fit, we could do a lot worse.

Could not get a game at Coventry or Cardiff

only 5ft 10 and 33 years old, lost what pace he had. So therefore he will be a good signing.

Oh and he`s Welsh, so that rules him out for me :D :D

He's 6 foot according to soccerbase

and been playing out of his skin for Cov reserves but as you know their back 4 are pretty solid as it is, we had a deal for him in the pipeline before he got injured, now he's back fit, I think he's a great option.

I would be looking for a Striker that scores goals.

I am not employed to as a scout for Barnsley FC, if they paid me then I could travel around and find some players, but they do not so I am sitting here airing my opinions , just the same as YOU.

RE: I would be looking for a Striker that scores goals.

Problem is, that's what every club in the country/world want! Goals win games of course.

Problem is, we're competing against teams with more pulling power...bigger finances, bigger crowds, better squads. I admire what Davey has done so far. He was always going to sign players that wouldn't be up to it, but he's made some great signings too...bringing in Stan was a great call...then of course JCR, the loanees...Foster/Sousa/Muller...3 top signings

Stan was an exception rather than the rule tho

Davey has made more than a couple of mistakes in the forwards dept.
JCR is different, but is he really that good, he has only 1 goal this season and he has only put about 8 good crosses in all season.
The trouble with Loans is they go back and if they are a big part ofthe squad , you are fecked, like now.
Muller has been very good , but he is becoming a liability at times too, same with Souza.
Foster has ben the best signing so far.
I hope that Leon is as good as him , but for an attacking midfieler, he has not scored many goals in his career and he has not played that many games either.

well if he

has not played that many games that would explain why he hasnt scored many goals wouldnt it

so why has he not stayed at any club for long ?

When he is there he does not get many games.
only scored about 4 or so goals in his career.
Is that good for an attacking midfielder.
Howard has more this season(not including pens) than Diego has in his career
