Is it me or is he becoming more and more of a nob everyday he's on the radio. Last season when I first noticed him getting a bit of airtime, I liked him and he seemed a breath of fresh air after the other idiots. But since hes been getting more and more airtime he's changed completely. Today I listened for about 1/2 hour on my way home and he just argued with every caller. He told most the callers they were wrong to criticise their teams after just 2 games, yet when a Barnsley fan came on complaining about fans booing , he said they had a right to boo with they liked and understandable after too bad defeats. I dont think its a Barnsley thing with him, he must just like being obnoxious. Keeps banging on about Donny being second cheapest ground in league when their fans know for a fact they are not
An embarrassment of a Radio station. For the second Saturday running one of the third division clubs gets live coverage priority. Was ***** WITH Bennett and Walker now even worse without em.
Couldn't agree with you more. He's slowly becoming a right helmet. Used to enjoy listening to him and made alot of valid points. Now he just wants to argue against every callers opinion. Knob Staton more like... hehe.
They are told to play Devils advocate in order to generate interest.They are also told not to slag off the clubs and their respective managers.They are also told to only talk about the two "biggest" clubs in the region in the same vein a neutral fan would talk about Barcelona.
