2 for Jason Price and 1 for Beagrie. Had to pick all them out of back of net today. Made a few saves though, a couple of decent ones from Blake shots, and a one on one with Price. They know how to strike a ball, thought my hand had been smashed to bits on one of them.
Veteran's league. Over 40s but allowed 5 players over 35. They normally have Windass playing too. They are top, we were 3rd before today's game.
They'll be paying to play. The 3g pitch and floodlights they play on costs about £90 an hour I think. They'll all be paying subs. We pay a fiver a week each and our digs cost a fraction of that. They actually played 2 games today, a cup game and a league game (they've loads of players too) so have rented it for about 3 hrs.
I suppose that they have no choice if they want to play but I always thought that players up at Harrogate got paid albeit only pocket money in comparison.
Harrogate Town do. This team's nowt to do with them, other than a few of their ex players play for them.
