Was talking to an Huddersfield player who lives locally. It was just after wed managed to stay up. He said they were trying to sign Devaney, Nardiello and maybe Anthony Kay.

How can I keep a straight face now when I see him?

Andy Ritchie going back for a player that he didnt fancy when he was his manager? Strange game this football!

AR attended a fans meeting last month and stated that the only player he would sign from Barnsley is Robbie Williams.

To be fair his performances for Blackpool cant have done him any harm. Will be interesting to see how many starts he gets for them if he signs.

Good authority that AR's kept close tabs on him since he left, and was very impressed with him last year at Blackpool. He'll be a first team regular.

No but he said that "vertical stripes are more flattering for the fuller figure".
