He'll do well for them, think thats his division. In my view he's just not quite good enough for the championship, gets caught out with his lack of pace and not the best defender. Still a young player though so still room for development.
Still Rather We Kept Him But.......... he's English and homegrown so no good to us. Front of the Examiner the headline tonight reads "Barnsley Star". Had to laugh because as much as I like Robbie, calling him a star is a bit much. Anyway.......... http://ichuddersfield.icnetwork.co....objectid=19670980&siteid=50060-name_page.html
Good luck to Robbie hope he does well at HT. Agree he isn't quite good enough to be a Championship full-back, he would have made a fantastic central midfielder though. (hidebehindsofa)
Whats it got to do with Davey?
Davey said all along that he wanted Robbie to stay. He was offered a new contract which he turned down.
Robbie wants first team football which he can't be guaranteed at Oakwell. That's why he leaving.

(asshole)
How many places are Huddersfield behind us now? 4?
Aye, **** manager that Ritchie, no ambition.
S.M. = (wnkr)

ok Wavey Davey fan how many academy products has he got rid of this season...? you think williams would have dropped a division if he was wanted at this club... hows head tennis these days.... (wnkr)
Don't cloud the issue. Davey wanted to keep Robbie, Fact.
This was reported in the media by both Davey and Robbie.
Nothing like letting the truth get in the way of anti Davey sentiment is there?

We certainly offered him another contract But whether or not that was simply to get a transfer fee for him under the Bosman ruling, a la Hayes, or a genuine attempt to keep him is up for conjecture.
Williams and Tonge = Championship fullbacks? I think not. Just because they came from our academy they can still be ****. Oh, and Austin dropped 2 divisions. Championship my arse.
