Well done to him for scoring and getting promoted with Blackpool but besides that goal I thought he was pretty average. No better or worse than Heckingbottom or Austin were in that position last season. I think your all getting a bit high hoped in thinking hes a totally new player now hes scored a couple of goals in a league below us. I'd rather see us get a bit of money for him and bring in somebody of championship standard.
Agree No different to what we've seen in a red shirt really. Fitter, bit more confidence maybe, but better coming forward than defensively.
If he plays regular championship football next season for whoever then he will be found wanting. Id rather he stayed with Blackpool, they love him there, for now.
I say we take the money. He's not quick enough or fit enough for this league. Good player technically but we might get 100k from a tribunal for him if we are lucky, possibly more like 50k though.

With those attributes - he'd make a great central midfielder. He's **** on a stick. Fat, slow, positionally demented ... but he can kick a ball really hard - great. He'll spend most of next season on the Blackpool bench - then be shipped off to Worksop, where he belongs. "some people need to get real". Oh aye. Oh yes. I'm comparing Worsborough Bridge bound Robbie Williams with a player who played at the top level of English football on several occasions. That's what I'm doing. There is one similarity - Nicky had a fat arse & so does Robbie. However ... Nicky didn't have a fat head, neck, chest, stomach, legs, toes & hat. I'd replace Robbie with Carl Regan's toaster & it would give the ball away less. Have you ever been to a game of Association Football?

Your bitterness and unwavering negativity towards the club is shameful and highly embarrassing, I suggest you get a grip of your life, take a step or 2 away from your keyboard and take stock for a while. maybe seek help, maybe a change of diet, anything, just do something man, cos you're a proper poorly person. we're offering terms as good as, and in some cases better than, other clubs in the Championship. just try and let that fact sneak through your guard, it could be the start of a whole new you.....
