Robbins verdict on tommorow nights game....

'it will be better than saturday, as Saturday it was very poor'.

hope he is right, seems to have a good attitude and tells it like it is, without skirting around the issue.

 

Having listened to his press conference, he is clearly very unhappy with the effort put in by the players on Saturday stating that "running around and closing down are an absolute minimum requirement".

 

Talk is cheap. I have every faith in MR at present and I think he is the right man for the job but lets see some actions. Lets see him make an example of one of the lazy feckers that are stealing a living from our club. The others might sit up and take notice then.

To show MR just what a set of spineless, lazy, uninterested w*nkers he's inherited from Davey. They didn't even have the decency to give him the new manager bounce. At least the cracks weren't papered over and he has now seen first hand exactly what we've been seeing for ages. Come on Mark make em have it big style.

it's gunna take him a bit of time to break up "the cosy arm round, pat on the back, we've made it cos we won at anfield, look i'm on a big poster in the executive sweet club" but he'll get there eventually

he needs to come down hard on them, no gentle approach as that hasn't worked before, if you dont want to play for the club then leave. Just annoys me when people like De Silva are getting a game when clearly he cannot be arsed, and Butterfield doesn't get a start when all he wants to do is get out there and play football. Hope MR gives him a chance and drops lazy de silva, or if not he has a stern word with de silva about his lack of commitment on the playing field.

I agree. Time to shape up or ship out. Hopefully that is what Robins is about. No more arms on shoulders, time to be men. Butterfield should be in for Anderson tomorrow. Anderson has done nothing to deserve a starting place, Butterfield looked promising at times and certainly didn't look out of place. Get him in the middle with Colace.
