had a training ground spat with Michael Doyle, so must be a good guy!! I think Page was captain last season at Coventry.

I've known Pagey indirectly for years. He was born & bred about 4 miles from where I live and mates of mine have played in the same teams as him. Others know him personally as well.

Wherever he's been he's been made captain as he's a natural leader and always seems to be there or thereabouts when the player of the year accolade comes around.

We signed him at Cardiff form Sheff Utd when the Blades, and Colin in particular, didn't want him to leave. He tried his best to keep him there but Pagey wanted to join his hometown side - the one he's always supported and where his family are season ticket holders.

Obviously eager to impress, Page got on with what he hoped would be his last move. He was bloody awful. Slow, clumsy and error-prone would be being polite.

He left and went to Coventry where he appeared to have done well, apart from knocking a teammates teeth out, but looks to have fallen out of favour.

If he signs for you, just hope that it's only the move to Cardiff that didn't work out for him.

He's solid, experienced and bald. What more do we need?

Saw him at the end of last season and he was a bit poor though.
