    Offers from both Aston Villa and Norwich on the table for Snodgrass. Reportedly around £8 million.
    So surely Butterfield must be worth around that? I wouldn't say Butterfield is better, probably on par.
    Says it all really.

    Butterfield was out of contract, so he was worth nothing in the respect. Its only because of his age that we will get something.

    Wasn't it another Davey masterstroke he isn't good enough why he didn't sign for us? Has we where strongly linked when he came down from Livingston

    Agreed, Butterfield also younger. We should have been setting our stall out with Norwich for around £6/7m with a view to getting half that. Delph went for £6m to Villa.

    Said it for ages, if this club is to move forward we must start getting at least market value for our players.

    Snodgrass has been consistently good over the years, hence the price tag. Butters has been good for 6 months... don't be disappointed when we don't get much.
