    Might be talking nonsense here but I would quite like to see if Roberts could be adapted to a ball winning midfielder.. Would his passing be upto the job?

    I certainly think he has enough about him to give it a try and let the likes of Hourihane get forward while he remains the defensive one, breaking play up.

    He's a big clumsy centre half. Couldn't think of anything less suited to a midfield position. It's a no from me.

    His footwork needs to improve to be a successful centre back, let alone a midfielder.

    He's not far of Darren Moore for footwork.

    Not in a million years for me. I think he'd look sunday league standard playing centre mid at this level

    Mawson would be suited to that role going on his technical ability.

    Mawson possibly ok technically but his inability to move his feet quickly could be a problem.
