Robins or McInnes??

It appears the post at Ashton Gate has been whittled down to those 2 men.
I wonder if this is Marky Mark's final chance at a 2nd tier job. Because I cant see any other club fancying him other than perhaps Coventry, but they have worse finances and boardroom politics than us, so I doubt HE would fancy that gig. And so I reckon if McInnes beats him to the Bristol post, he would then have to peer into the lower leagues.
On a slight side note to this, we all know about the upcoming CAT A fixture with the Brizzle, and I suggest Im not the only one fearing a crowd in the 8000's. So, IF Mark was to get the job at City - they are appointing before saturday apparently - do you reckon this added factor would help with regards to attendance? I know one thing, this place would implode if a Robins-led Robins side kicked our arse in that one! :)

Managing St Johnstone is comparable to managing Rotherham United. Robins's decent spell with us should put him way above the other bloke.

Agreed mate, but if you go on their version of the bbs (more active like) otib.co.uk you would think that McInnes was either a top top manager or an ex-Bristol legend, they are all over him. They absolutely dont want Mark. I think a fellow Tarn fan has tipped them off.
This btw was an attempt at a discussion, and nobody is bothered really. I dont think this forum is quiet due to content anymore, theres a few decent topics at the mo. Its gotta be down to lack of numbers.

It would surely add a bit of interest. We might get an extra 20.

Haha, that would be my guess. Along with the 20 who want the Hull ticket deal.
Thats also about how many of these 17 match ST will get snapped up probably. Better than nowt I suppose. I fear for JCR if Robins gets the job though.. set a goal up satdi

It would add some spice to an otherwise unattractive fixture. You're right about this place if we were to lose though.

At those prices, they would struggle to generate interest if a Simon Davey led Sheffield Wednesday were to come to Oakwell!

    I'm jesting of course . . . The Deedar ****s always fetch a crowd. . . . .
