Tutte had the better of Perkins first half but second half and extra time, Perkins was absolutely magnificent. He chased every single ball and frustrated us.

Dagnall played really well and his finish for his second was fabulous, we seemed to switch off for his first.

God only knows what was going through Alnwick's head when he nutted Putterill. Yes, Putterill reacted really late and his reaction possibly got Alnwick sent off but what was the need to go in with his head like that? No choice for the referee, utter stupidity.

If that was utter stupidity, the handball incident that led to our second penalty was utter insanity. The ball was going out of play, absolutely mental.

Also, what happened at half time in the tunnel for the stewards to sprint down there?

Overall, lots of positives and a game that really could have gone either way.

A fitting way to welcome back Keith Hill and Dave Flitcroft, a brilliant end to end match with lots of goals.

"And despite Rochdale being the better of the two sides throughout the games, Barnsley took the lead through Craig Davies with 11 minutes of the match remaining".
