For me this is the best performance so far this season. Certainly of games I've seen

We always carried a threat on the break, although did play like an away team. The only criticism was a few dangerous stray passes at the back which must be ironed out

However what I liked most was how we defended. The formation so so solid so that they could keep possession in front of us and not threaten. The only way they could get at us was out wide where Wabara and Smith were superb. Especially Smith who seemed to come of age today. Outstanding.

The centre backs were faultless I thought and Pearson and Scowen did their job excellently.

So I'm very happy with how we played. Their dangerous players didn't have a sniff and I think Townsend (who was much better too) only had one save to make which was towards the end

    You reds!

I was very impressed with the defence today. Nyatanga and Mawson didn't put a foot wrong, Smith defended well against a big, quick lad and Wabara was very dangerous going forwards.

A lot of goals will come from down our right hand side with Wabara and Watkins playing there.

I went for Smith but Lewin ran him close. What I like is he looks so much more composed on the ball nowadays

I must have been seeing things in 1st half when Mawson missed a tackle which let them through, missed an header, did an air kick and screwed 2 clearances into touch.

I thought he had a poor 1st half.

    Just saying like, not criticising.

Honestly I didn't notice that. Not to say it didn't happen. I just thought he was solid, but maybe not
