Comes from two sets down to reach a consecutive grand slam final at 33 years of age. I really hope he wins. Has to go down as one of the best sportsmen of all time and a gent who is always gracious in defeat. A true champion.

He's up there with Phil Taylor as a master of their sport for a very long time.

Both are coming to an end now, but they can both put the young uns to shame on their day!

Well, no-one has - because the semi-finals are the next round. But he has won the US Open 5 times already with a total number of 17 Grand Slam wins. Not bad - you've got to admit.

Quite simply the greatest tennis player of all time, for me. I know he has a losing record against Nadal (who is also phenomenal) but I've never seen anyone play with such a variety of skills, with hardly any weaknesses, with such consistency for such a long time. 33 years old and still a serious contender for a Grand Slam win. Wow.

I love watching him play - it's like art meets sport.

Riding a horse isn't a sport. It's a hobby for posh people and little dwarves

A little, fat bloke floating darts into a board a few feet away is certainly no athlete.

AP is good but not that good. If you put a pound win on every ride he's ever done you'd have lost thousands of pounds. He's not a money maker for punters as he loses alot on odds on favourites.

As for Federer before it start the other sunday I was in Ladbrokes and they were doing one of their ten minute lock in prices. They put Federer to win it out to 5/1. Wish i'd had a go now.

Don't care about prices of the horses, he's been champion jockey every year for over a decade, out 9 days with a broken arm, 6 week with a broken back, riding with broken ribs and fingers, he's got more pins in him then a bowling ally, and he still carries on and on and on day after day touring the country week in week out searching for winners to continue being the best

Owners in most sports are rich. Plenty of trainers and jockeys who are most definitelywworking class.
