His lack of effort today was unbelievable. When Shuker was bad he was cut some slack because at least he was putting the effort in. This guy just didn't give a **** today.

Ricketts definately has the ability. Last year when Wolves came to Oakwell he looked extremely good and whoever went to Morecambe in pre season will tell you he was very good then too. I think part of the problem at the minute is he's being played on the right and not the left, he's the type who likes to cut in and he cant do that of the right. Dont get me wrong that is no the whole problem but I think is a factor. Anyone remember when we first signed Devaney????? and up until the Bradford away match he was garbidge.
you'd have thought he'd av wanted to prove summat against bagies fans cos they were giving him a bad time
having to "prove" things against previously rival fans makes a player try too hard and lose sight of the game. I'd never play someone who was going to get abuse from opposition fans in a match, no matter how professional they try to be it clearly puts them off their game at our level.
