Just checked on Ticketmaster for the O2 gigs tickets priced at between £106 to £406 Dont think I will be going soimehow. The £106 tickets are not advised for people with a fear of heights !!!! £406 tickets are unreserved standing tickets.
I went to see them in Roundhay Park in 1982 (I think) 24 song set list, God knows how many they do now. I am sure that Roundhay gig was the last one of the tour. Joe Jackson, George Thorogood and the J Geils band (I think thats when I saw them), support acts.
Me too, very young. Saw some gigs in 1990 at Wembley, one the same night of England's world cup semi. £25 a ticket face value then, how they can justify that level of increase is beyond me. £400 is obscene, will not be going.
Saw them there too, Bridges to Babylon tour, awsome, son bought tickets as a christmas present so no idea what they cost but £400 is taking the p33.
Why would they call it a day when they can still rake in plenty of money to do a few shows? They'd be crackers to stop, if people are stupid enough to pay those scandolous prices thats there concern not the bands
The stones are the greatest rock n roll band in the world - wonder how many of today's so-called bands will be together and demanding top-dollar in 5 years time - never mind 50.very expensive but see how many tickets are left after tomorrow on sale date!!!
