    Should be off free kicks now.

    Also, does he need to look at himself on the screen so much too? Seen quite a lot of other players do it. Not shocking I guess.

    Great player in his time but he isn’t a team player is he? All about him. Not be long before his son takes over - social media seems to be determined to make him into a celebrity with the coverage of him training. It’s that or his Dad with his shirt off again.

    Can see how much it means to him. His entire nation always expects from him because he's levels above anyone else he's ever played with. He's playing with the likes of Francisco Conceicao who isn't fit to lace his dads boots. But that can also be said for other next generation players in this tournament like Thuram and Chiesa.

    All you have to do is get a bit of height on it. You never see a keeper diving upwards do you. Just hit it 5 or 6 feet off the ground, anywhere, and it’s in.

    That was a POOR penalty

    It wasn't a great penalty. The keeper was only going one way by the time Ronaldo struck it.

    Even if the keeper goes the right way, if it's struck well enough he has no real chance.

    Good pen. Enough of a good pen not to take any flac. Not great by any means though.

    p.s. great pens don't get saved. Apart from one, by Gordon Banks from Geoff Hirst. Ages ago.

    I’ll give you Thuram, albeit he was a penalty shootout away from being a World Cup winner.

    But Fede Chiesa has absolutely battered his dad’s career. He’s won the Euros already. Has 40 more caps. Great club career.

    Enrico always flattered to deceive.
