    Just been told by my very good mate who's work colleague lives at the side of Ronnie and by all accounts it's not looking so good and he only has about a week left. Says he is going to be lucky to reach another week. Now if this is true I pray to god it isn't. Get well soon please Ronnie.

    Yes we do, Ronnie's son posted on here last night and seemed a lot more positive. You're right, a mate of a mate speculation isn't healthy, I just hope it's not true.

    Well to be honest I'm not one to normally pass on this information but it's seems to come from a legit source. Hey if this is wrong then I unreservedly apologise to anyone and everyone. As I said I really hope this isn't true. Ronnie is my favourite player of all time.

    Dunno wot to believe I read this last night update on the king of oakwell......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Hi all,
    This is Ronnie's son.
    Firstly I want to thank everyone for their kind words & wishes, it does mean a lot to us all!
    R.Glavin is currently in hospital with a heart issue that he has had for the past couple of years.
    At present, he's feeling good & moving about, (pissed off he's in there though!), but awaiting an operation next week to hopefully fix this issue, after the issue flared up leading to him being rushed in last Thursday.
    He wants to thank everyone for all their thoughts & reassure everyone he's okay now!...............................................................................................................................................great news.....................

    Please don't believe any rumours you hear.

    If there is news, I will post as we'd rather it come from the horses mouth as opposed to 4th hand gossip.
