Ronnie moore on last years division one - how come oldham didn't walk it then?

    Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore, who was in charge at Oldham last season, is in no doubt that the standard will be much better this season.

    Moore told BBC Sport: "I think it will definitely be stronger.

    "I thought that last year it was an awful league, very weak, but there are a lot of good sides in it now.

    The things he did as manager at oldham were weird. However the fans hated him more then to be honest he deserved to be hated. TTAs had no choice but to get rid of him due to the shocking season ticket sales. Tranmere will be top half but not playoffs.
